Sydney Bristow (J.Garner) begins working for an organization called SD-6, which she believes is a secret branch of the CIA, during her first year of college. However, she soon discovers that SD-6 is actually an anti-government organization working for hostile countries and groups. To take down this organization and seek revenge, Sydney starts working with the CIA. She is now a double agent. While trying to keep her mysterious lifestyle hidden from her friends, Sydney will also battle various rival agents, terrorist groups, and traitors.
