Alex Rider's life takes a dramatic turn when he learns that his uncle did not die in a traffic accident as claimed, but was killed while on duty as a British spy. Alan Blunt, head of a secret MI6 unit, believes Alex has been trained for espionage since childhood and thus asks him to investigate the deaths of two billionaires.
