Tatsumi is a young and strong warrior living in a rural area. He and two friends set out towards the imperial capital with dreams of earning money for their poor village. However, the capital, which they arrived at with great hopes, turns out to be nothing like they imagined. After facing the capital's ruthlessness, Tatsumi realizes it is not the place he thought it was, and his path intersects with Akame and the assassination group known as Night Raid during an event. Deciding to join Night Raid, the revolutionary assassination branch against this corrupt society, Tatsumi will now fight alongside them against the capital. As Night Raid continues to carry out assassinations against those who abuse their power and bully the public, the prime minister, who is at the center of it all, forms a group of the best soldiers against Night Raid: the Jaegers. The clash between Night Raid and the Jaegers will not be easy at all.
