Okul sonrası Londra'da Arcola Theatre bünyesinde çalıştı. 2005 yılında televizyonda Ihlamurlar Altında dizisinde canlandırdığı "Ömer" karakteriyle tanındı. 2006 yılında, ilk sahnelenişinden 60 yıl sonra yeniden sahnelenen "Ayşe" adlı operette başrolü oynadı. Bu oyunda başrolü paylaştığı Dolunay Soysert ile 9 Temmuz 2006'da evlendi.
