In 2012, he directed Dario Fo's play The Open Couple at the Zhambyl Regional Kazakh Drama Theater named after Zh. Dosmukhamedov, receiving high praise from critics. In 2017, at the State Puppet Theater, he staged the plays The Foal and the Wolf Cub by Zh. Omarov and The Smell of Wormwood by R. Otarbayev, further developing the directing approach in puppet theater. He is known for the films The Walnut Tree (2016), Kelinjan (2019), Serzhan Bratan (2021), Sweetie, You Won't Believe It! (2019), and many others. He is also involved in directing theatrical productions.
