Gained fame as Vujkovic role in the TV series "Banjica" (1984) and Stevice Kurcubić in the TV series "Better Life" (1987, 1990) ("Bolji Život"). For many years Bekjarev is a professor of the BK Academy of Arts , where in 2001. elected to the position of Associate and 2006. full professor.
