Harshaali Malhotra (Hindi: हर्षाली मल्होत्रा; born June 3, 2008) is an Indian child actress. She made her film debut with a leading in Kabir Khan's 2015 drama film Bajrangi Bhaijaan, opposite Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoorand Nawazuddin Siddiqui. She played the role of Shahida (Munni), a Pakistani Muslim girl who gets lost in India and travels back to her homeland with the help of an Indian, Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi (played by Salman Khan). Harshaali Malhotra (Shahida) was selected out of 5,000 girls who appeared for the film's audition. The film was released on Eid ul Fitr, and became the second highest-grossing Bollywood films. Malhotra was critically praised for her performance; and her innocence was acclaimed by the audience. In this movie, she did not utter a single word, playing the role of a mute girl, but she still managed to win everyone's hearts with her expressions and gestures.
