The actor's manager, Brad Kramer, stated in an interview with Variety, "Ving was calling out as usual and joking with us on the phone."

The 66-year-old actor was hospitalized after collapsing while heading to a restaurant on Wednesday afternoon. Although initial reports about his condition were concerning, medical checks later confirmed that the actor's condition is stable.
