Vietnamese cinema holds 70.6% of the local box office in the first five months of 2026. This figure was 62.2% for the entirety of 2025 and 42.6% in 2023. These statistics were presented by Dinh Thanh Huong, chairman of the board of Galaxy Studio and CEO of Galaxy Entertainment Holding, at the DANAFF Industry Days.
