Tubi has ordered a new anime series titled "Yokoso Scooby-Doo!" from Warner Bros. Animation. This series will be the first anime production in Scooby-Doo's long history and will take place in Japan, featuring crime-solving adventures. The word "Yokoso" means "welcome" in Japanese. The series will air on Tubi in the United States and internationally on Cartoon Network.

Japan's OLM Studios will handle the production services for the series. Itusro Kawasaki will direct the project, with Francisco Paredes serving as producer. Sam Register, president of Warner Bros. Animation, Cartoon Network Studios, and Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe, expressed his excitement for this new project, stating that they will take the Scooby-Doo brand forward.

The "Yokoso Scooby-Doo!" series will follow Shaggy and Scooby (voiced by Frank Welker and Matthew Lillard) as they embark on a quest for the "best food adventure" in Japan. Along the way, they will inadvertently unleash hundreds of legendary monsters that cause chaos across the country. Scooby's uncle Daisuke-Doo and their new friends, magical girl Yume and gadget master Takumi, will join them in a new mystery-filled adventure where they chase monsters and experience fun chaos.

Tubi's chief content officer stated, "Scooby-Doo is one of the most beloved brands in the entertainment world, and with 'Yokoso Scooby-Doo!' we have the opportunity to reimagine it in a way that has never been seen before." This new anime series will provide a fresh take for Scooby-Doo fans and will blend the series' iconic elements with a modern approach.
