Timothy Olyphant explained how Netflix's new film "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" blends the styles of Quentin Tarantino and David Fincher. In this film, Olyphant takes on a new adventure of the character Cliff Booth, which Tarantino portrayed in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood." The story is a continuation set in the changing Hollywood industry of 1969, addressing an alternative version of the Tate murders.

In addition to the screenplay written by Tarantino, Fincher sits in the director's chair for the film. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Olyphant described how the styles of these two renowned directors are balanced. He noted that "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" is a "fantastic mix" and emphasized that the dialogues still feel "completely like a Tarantino film." However, he also expressed that Fincher's influence on the film is evident, with his visual aesthetics, atmosphere, and music clearly felt.

Tarantino stepped back from directing because he does not see this film as his final project. His goal is to direct ten films and leave the industry on a high note. Last year, Tarantino explained Fincher's involvement in the project by saying, "I love this script, but I'm not excited about walking the same path I’ve walked before."

Olyphant stated that the combination of two different styles is quite impressive, saying, "The fact that these two things are both very vibrant at the same time creates a wonderful mix." Tarantino's dialogues give listeners the feeling of listening to a piece by the Rolling Stones. This film promises to deliver an unforgettable experience to audiences by bringing together the cinematic talents of both Tarantino and Fincher.
