Since announcing its multi-platform partnership with iHeartMedia last year, TikTok has been rapidly stepping into the podcast space. In March, it officially launched the TikTok Podcast Network to expand access for content creators. This network is powered by iHeart's strength as a leading podcast publisher in the industry. So far, popular creator-focused programs like The Set List hosted by Carter Gregory, Sports Slice, and Suite 305 with Lele Pons have been released. Now, however, Raiders of the Lost Podcast, hosted by brothers James and Anthony Deveney, who have made a name for themselves in film and television criticism, has joined the TikTok Podcast Network.

Founded in 2020, Raiders of the Lost Podcast has become a beloved hit with its expertise and passion for modern box office hits, independent productions, and classics. In each episode, the brothers cover the latest news in the film and television world, review current releases in theaters, provide retrospective commentary, and conduct interviews with the talents behind various projects. Currently releasing three episodes a week, the Deveney brothers' latest guest was Oscar-winning sound designer Mark Mangini, known for his work on productions like Dune: Part One and Mad Max: Fury Road.

While both brothers are known as cinema enthusiasts, they have also worked behind the camera as independent filmmakers. Anthony directed short films like Midnight Ruin and The Mother, being one of the highest-rated screenwriters on the Black List. James has collaborated with major brands such as IMAX, Warner Bros., and Amazon. In an official statement, they shared how Raiders of the Lost Podcast has grown since transitioning to an online format and what the deal with iHeart and TikTok means for sustaining the show strongly.

"We started this podcast because we could already talk for hours about film and television, so we decided to turn on the microphones. This journey, which began with two brothers' obsession with movies, has transformed into a large community of fellow film enthusiasts. We are excited to join iHeart and the TikTok Podcast Network and look forward to providing more reviews, in-depth analysis, and conversations," they said.
