The Best Movies Coming in July: "Project Hail Mary" and "Devil Wears Prada 2"

This month, the summer box office season kicks off with two major films: Christopher Nolan’s "The Odyssey" and "Spider-Man: Brand New Day". However, digital platforms are also bringing the biggest productions of 2026 to audiences. Starring Ryan Gosling, "Project Hail Mary" is premiering on Prime Video with a box office gross of $683 million, marking the year's first big success. Additionally, Disney’s "The Devil Wears Prada 2" will be available to viewers on Disney+ and Hulu, boasting a worldwide gross of $678 million.

The biggest film of 2026, "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie", is also coming to the Peacock platform. This animated sequel is notable for being the first film of the year to reach a billion dollars at the box office, and it is expected to make Peacock the most appealing streaming platform for families this month.

Netflix hopes to showcase its own hits during the summer. The latest installment of Millie Bobby Brown’s popular detective series, "Enola Holmes 3", and "72 Hours" starring Kevin Hart will be available on this platform. HBO Max continues its collaboration with A24; the dark comedy titled "The Drama", featuring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, will be released on the platform at the end of the month.
