Details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Wedding Have Emerged
The Hollywood Reporter
Details about the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, which took place last Friday, have started to come in from attendees. The "intimate" ceremony held at Madison Square Garden has drawn attention to the atmosphere and decorations shared by participants. Adam Aron, CEO of AMC Theaters, along with Maren Morris and Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, and Michael Strahan, shared their experiences from the event.
Aron later deleted a tweet in which he shared details about the wedding. In his tweet, he stated, "everything... the floors, walls, ceilings... was covered in peach and white colors. Large photos of Taylor and Travis from their childhood to their teenage years were displayed." Part of the wedding venue was transformed into a garden adorned with green and white colors, far removed from the traces of basketball or hockey games.
Speaking on Good Morning America after the wedding, Stephanopoulos, Roberts, and Strahan noted that Swift and Kelce read their own written vows from "little booklets." Stephanopoulos expressed that the ceremony took place "in the most intimate way possible, despite being at Madison Square Garden." He emphasized that despite the scale of the wedding, the atmosphere was quite personal and heartfelt.
Roberts confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed at the wedding and noted that the event felt "really intimate," resembling a wedding with familiar faces like neighbors and high school friends. Maren Morris shared a photo of a handkerchief given to attendees during the wedding, designed for wiping away tears. The handkerchiefs were adorned with Swift and Kelce's initials, the wedding date and location, along with the lyrics of the song "Blank Space."
