Last week, in HBO's "Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness," the late director and actor Rob Reiner made a notable appearance portraying George Washington. In this episode, Reiner indirectly criticized President Trump, emphasizing that future presidents should be limited to two terms.

Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner were found stabbed to death in their home in Brentwood on December 14. Their son Nick Reiner was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and is currently awaiting trial in Los Angeles without bail. Nick has denied the charges.

This new sketch comedy series, produced by Larry David, is supported by Barack and Michelle Obama's production company, Higher Ground. The show aired its second episode on July 3, where Reiner, as Washington, declared he would not run for a third term in front of the colonists.

Reiner's Washington character delivered an important message to the audience, stating, "I believe no man should serve more than two terms as president." David's character, the colonist, asked, "But what if a future president doesn't follow your lead and runs for a third term?" Reiner's character insisted that this should be prohibited.

David's character also made an indirect reference to Trump, saying, "If there's a narcissist in office, he can use the presidency for his own interests, disregarding the Constitution." This dialogue resonated with viewers by providing a critical perspective on Trump's style of governance.
