Prime Video's hugely successful Reacher series is returning in 2026, not only with its fourth season but also with the franchise's first spin-off series. This new production, titled Neagley, will center around the character of Maria Sten, who has been alongside Jack Reacher since the first season. Sten will continue to portray Neagley, an Army Sergeant and security consultant. This character, who is Reacher's closest friend, is seen as a perfect choice for the franchise's first derivative series.

Adeline Rudolph will take the director's chair for Neagley. Rudolph is known for her roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Riverdale, and the upcoming Mortal Kombat II film. In her statements about Mortal Kombat II, Rudolph noted that Neagley would be tonally different from the main Reacher series but would still take place in the same universe.

In a statement about the production, Rudolph said, "Maria Sten is amazing, and we have an incredible cast. I feel that Neagley will showcase itself very well in this spin-off. It's a nice coincidence to work with Damon Herriman, who is also playing Quan Chi." The director emphasized that while the tone of the series might be a bit different, it will still contain beloved elements from the Reacher series, stating, "We are definitely part of the same universe."

Before joining Neagley, Rudolph will also be featured in Mortal Kombat II, taking on a role in the famous video game franchise. She will portray the fan-favorite characters Edenia and Outworld Princess Kitana, which were not included in the 2021 Mortal Kombat reboot. In this film, she will also work alongside her Chilling Adventures of Sabrina co-star Tati Gabrielle, who will play Jade, Kitana's long-time friend and sometimes rival.

Adeline Rudolph's two major projects next year mark a significant turning point in her career. While bringing a new perspective to Prime Video's successful Reacher universe, her important role in cinema will strengthen Rudolph's position in the industry.
