Peacock Announces Fall Release Dates for Crystal Lake and The Good Daughter

Peacock has revealed the release dates for its highly anticipated series, the Friday the 13th prequel Crystal Lake and the drama series The Good Daughter. During NBCUniversal's upfront event held on Monday, the platform presented a packed schedule for its fall season. Amy Poehler's comedy Dig, the second season of Day of the Jackal, along with several new documentary series, are also on the way.
Crystal Lake will premiere on October 15, starring Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, the mother of the killer and immortal monster Jason from the original Friday the 13th film. Produced by A24, the series also features William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom in its cast. Callum Vinson will appear as the recurring character young Jason. Details about the series, which will start two weeks before Halloween, are still being kept tightly under wraps.
The Good Daughter, starring Rose Byrne and Meghann Fahy, will debut on November 12. Based on Karin Slaughter's novel and produced by Slaughter herself, the drama tells the story of sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn. After a violent night event that caused their lives to fracture over the past twenty years, the series will uncover all secrets when a new attack occurs in the town of Pikeville. Brendan Gleeson, Harper Steele, Olivia Williams, Drew Cheek, Audrey Grace Marshall, and Michael Dorman also star in the series.
