Parker Posey will serve as the host for Hulu's new competition series The Mob, produced by Studio Lambert, the creators of The Traitors. Similar to Alan Cumming's role in The Traitors, Posey will guide a group of celebrities with reality TV experience through challenges themed around gangster films.

The Mob will take place in a villa in Italy, where contestants will have the chance to win cash prizes of up to $250,000. In each episode, participants will fight to survive by completing tasks inspired by organized crime films. At the center of the structure, a "don" (leader) will be chosen, and this person will have absolute power to determine who earns money, who stays, and who gets eliminated. However, given that the essence of the game revolves around loyalty and power struggles, will the don be able to maintain control, or will there be a family rebellion?

Among the new unscripted shows ordered by Hulu are House of Stassi, starring Stassi Schroeder, The Girls, featuring Khloe Kardashian and her friends, the dating series Ring by Spring Break, the documentary series Million Dollar Nannies, and a special Sports Illustrated swimsuit runway broadcast. Additionally, the streaming platform has launched a weekly podcast series called Get Real.

Considering Parker Posey's recognition from works like The White Lotus and Best in Show, securing a celebrity like her is a significant milestone for the producers. The Mob aims to add a new dimension to the competitive aspect of reality TV and has the goal of replicating the success of The Traitors in a different format.
