Three Lead Actors Cast in Netflix's 'Myron Bolitar' Series
The Hollywood Reporter
Netflix has announced three lead actors for its new series based on Harlan Coben's Myron Bolitar books. Colin Woodell will portray the main character Myron Bolitar. Woodell previously appeared in Netflix's Pulse series. Additionally, KJ Apa, known from Riverdale, and Diane Guerrero from Orange Is The New Black will also have significant roles in the series.
The series revolves around the life and career of sports agent Myron Bolitar. Coben's long-standing collaboration with Netflix continues once again with this project. Since signing a general deal with the platform in 2018, the author has seen 13 of his novels adapted into series. As of 2023, these series have garnered over 300 million views worldwide.
According to the official statement for the series, "After an injury ends Myron Bolitar's NBA dreams, he reinvents himself as a sports agent. With charm, intelligence, and a ruthless partner, he must risk everything to save his clients in the high-stakes and dirty world of sports."
KJ Apa will play Myron's best friend Win Lockwood. Despite being born into extraordinary privilege, Win chooses to distance himself from his family's wealth and forge his own path. Diane Guerrero will portray Myron's indispensable right-hand woman, Esperanza Diaz. Esperanza strives to keep everything organized as the backbone of the sports agency.
The showrunners and executive producers of the series have been identified as David E. Kelley and Kyle Long (Suits). This new collaboration between Kelley and Netflix follows projects like Anatomy of a Scandal, A Man in Full, and The Lincoln Lawyer.
