Ahead of fashion's biggest night, famous faces came together at the UTA Pre-Met Gala Soirée. The fourth annual event, held on Sunday at the Nubeluz by José Andrés rooftop bar located at The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, featured actors, singers, models, and stylists against the backdrop of the venue's famous 270-degree view of New York City. Guests sampled table drinks and champagne while celebrating the Met Gala set for Monday.

Many celebrities attended the event, including Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Janelle Monáe, Jon Batiste, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Nicholas Hoult, Karlie Kloss, Law Roach, Megan Moroney, Charli D'Amelio, Lisa Rinna, Ella Emhoff, and Romeo Beckham. Chase Sui Wonders, along with the founders of Flag Luxury Group and Dayssi and Paul Kanavos, the owners of The Ritz-Carlton New York, NoMad, were also present at the event.

During the four-hour event, DJ Austin Millz provided the music, while guests enjoyed three signature cocktails presented by Tanqueray, as well as a champagne fountain. The menu featured gourmet snacks like lobster tacos and tuna tartare cones, giving attendees a chance to network.

The 2026 Met Gala will take place on Monday, May 4, with the theme "Fashion is Art." Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour will serve as co-chairs, while Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez Bezos will be honorary chairs. The Costume Art exhibition, curated by Andrew Bolton, will be open to visitors at The Met's new Condé M. Nast Galleries from May 10, 2026, to January 10, 2027.
