Apple TV has officially renewed its popular series Margo's Got Money Troubles for a second season. This news comes just a week before the first season finale and follows the positive reviews the show has received from critics. The series revolves around Margo, a young college student who becomes pregnant and turns to OnlyFans to support herself and her baby.
Elle Fanning stars in the lead role, while Michelle Pfeiffer and Nick Offerman portray Margo's parents. Margo's mother is depicted as a former Hooters waitress, and her father is an ex-professional wrestler. Additionally, well-known names like Thaddea Graham and Nicole Kidman are part of the cast. The series is adapted from Rufi Thorpe's novel of the same name.
The show's creator, David E. Kelley, will collaborate with writer and executive producer Eva Anderson for the second season. Fanning stated that bringing Margo to life has been one of the greatest joys of her life. She expressed her belief that Rufi's story is unique and human, and she is thrilled to present Margo's challenges, creativity, and brave spirit to the audience in the upcoming season.
Kelley emphasized that Margo's Got Money Troubles has been an appealing project for him since day one.
