Lauren Bennett, the British singer who featured in LMFAO's hit song "Party Rock Anthem" and was one of the founding members of the girl group G.R.L., has passed away at the age of 37. The news of Bennett's death was announced on Instagram by the other members of G.R.L., Emmalyn Estrada, Natasha Slayton, and Paula van Oppen. The cause of her death has not yet been revealed.

The members of G.R.L. stated, "We are filled with great sadness to share the passing of our beloved Lauren. Our hearts are broken, and we cannot express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, joy, and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts."

Bennett began her music career by participating in the third season of The X Factor, which aired in the United Kingdom in 2006, but was eliminated before the live shows. In 2007, she joined the Paradiso Girls, a group founded by Robin Antin, the creator of the Pussycat Dolls. The group's first single, "Patron Tequila," released in 2009, did not achieve further success after they disbanded in 2010.

Bennett gained significant recognition in 2011 when she appeared as a featured artist alongside GoonRock on LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem." The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for six weeks. In 2012, Bennett joined the G.R.L. group, which was formed by Antin, alongside Estrada, Slayton, van Oppen, and Simone Battle. The group's song "Wild Wild Love," featuring Pitbull, managed to enter the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2014.
