Famous comedian and director Howard Storm has passed away at the age of 94 due to natural causes at his home in Beverly Hills. Storm left a significant mark on the television world by directing popular sitcoms such as Rhoda, Mork & Mindy, Laverne & Shirley, and Valerie. His son Anthony Storm confirmed the news of his death to The Hollywood Reporter.

Storm began his career in the film industry in the late 1950s by working at Lucille Ball's Desilu Studios. He gained valuable directing experience by collaborating with Woody Allen on the films Bananas (1971) and Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex but Were Afraid to Ask (1972). Storm recalls directing scenes by making eye contact with Allen during this process.

In 1975, Storm officially began his directing career with an episode of the Rhoda series, and he directed five more episodes during the second season of the CBS sitcom. Additionally, he directed eight episodes of the MTM Enterprises comedy Doc from 1975 to 1976. Storm's career was shaped by a long-term collaboration with Garry Marshall, and he became known for his work on shows like Laverne & Shirley and Mork & Mindy.

Storm directed a total of 59 episodes of Mork & Mindy, including a one-hour pilot episode. His legacy in the television world has inspired many new-generation artists in the fields of comedy and entertainment. His work has left a lasting impact on television history by providing audiences with unforgettable moments.
