Harvey Weinstein has been hospitalized due to "severe respiratory issues." His representatives reported that Weinstein is resting in the hospital and will remain there for at least a few weeks. This step was taken after his health deteriorated last week.

TMZ described Weinstein's health condition as "heart failure due to pneumonia." The former film producer faced these health issues while being held at Rikers Island. He is currently receiving treatment at the Bellevue Hospital Prison Ward in Manhattan.

New York prosecutors decided not to file a fourth rape charge against the 74-year-old Weinstein. However, Weinstein's other convictions remain valid, including another sexual offense in New York and other crimes in California.
