Guy Ritchie is returning to the big screen next weekend with the film "In The Grey," and 2026 looks to be a big year for him. Although the action-adventure thriller wrapped filming at the end of 2023, various issues in post-production have caused the film's release to be pushed to May 15, 2026. Ritchie has cast Henry Cavill and Jake Gyllenhaal as the leads for "In The Grey," with Eiza González and Rosamund Pike also taking on significant roles. Ritchie has previously worked with both Cavill and Gyllenhaal; he collaborated with Cavill on the 2024 film "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" and directed Gyllenhaal in the war film "The Covenant."

However, "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" is not actually Ritchie and Cavill's first collaboration. In 2015, the duo first worked together on the spy thriller "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." The film also featured Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, and Armie Hammer. Now over 10 years old, "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." offers a perfect blend of spy adventures for James Bond fans while also incorporating a mystery element that appeals to Sherlock Holmes enthusiasts.

In the U.S., "The Man From U.N.C.L.E." is no longer available on streaming platforms after being removed from Netflix. However, the film continues to be among the most rented and purchased films on VOD platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV. Even eleven years later, Ritchie's stylish spy thriller maintains its status as a late-night favorite and is frequently chosen by viewers due to its classic espionage entertainment and unique mise-en-scène.
