Gilles Pélisson Re-Elected as President of Unifrance

Unifrance President Gilles Pélisson has been re-elected for a second three-year term. Previously the head of the French broadcaster TF1, Pélisson will continue his leadership during this critical period for the French screen agency.
Pélisson stated, "I am very happy that the Unifrance Board of Directors has trusted me once again. I look to the future by building on the progress we have made together; we have some certainties, but many uncertainties as well. I believe in the validity of our mission to promote French cinema and audiovisual works internationally."
Pélisson also added that Unifrance will continue to engage internationally through its current activities and innovate to showcase production diversity across all genres and formats. This approach aims to enhance the visibility of French cinema in the global market.
Unifrance plays a significant role as an agency representing the interests of French cinema and television at both local and international levels. Recent projects include productions like "Fruit Gathering" and "11, Rue Denver." Additionally, it draws attention with the annual Rendez-Vous event held in Paris.
