Emily Blunt revealed that she is "afraid" of using artificial intelligence in her new film Disclosure Day, directed by Steven Spielberg. As a result, she decided to find an alternative way to perform one of her character's most unusual scenes. Blunt made these statements on the Hot Ones show and shared more information about the film.

Disclosure Day will hit theaters on June 12. In the film, Blunt plays the character Margaret Fairchild, a television meteorologist and former journalist. After encountering extraterrestrial life, Margaret suddenly gains certain abilities. During this process, there is a scene where Margaret experiences a significant change in her voice during a live weather broadcast and begins to speak an alien language.

Blunt noted that using artificial intelligence for this scene was frightening, stating that she tried different methods to create alternative voices. "I thought I could really make strange sounds," Blunt said, mentioning that she came to the studio to produce various sounds, trying clicks, murmurs, famous voices, and odd noises.

Adding that the necessary microphones were placed around the set, Blunt said that the sound designer was working to create these strange sounds. Disclosure Day presents a story that explores a situation proving that humanity is not alone. Blunt is joined by notable names such as Josh O'Connor, Colman Domingo, Eve Hewson, Colin Firth, and Wyatt Russell.
