The wait is over for fans of Delicious in Dungeon. The first season of the anime series received great acclaim from both viewers and critics when it premiered on Netflix in 2024. The show also drew attention with a pop-up café that recreated the dishes featured in Japan. Now, Netflix and Studio Trigger have begun preparations for the continuation of this delicious adventure.

Delicious in Dungeon is a fantasy series centered around the character Laios Touden (Damien Haas) as he attempts to rescue his sister Falin (Lisa Reimold). After his sister is defeated by a red dragon, Laios sets off toward a dungeon with his friends Marcille (Emily Rudd), Chilchuck (Casey Mongillo), and new member Dwarf Senshi (SungWon Cho). Since its release, the series has achieved a 100% rating from critics and a 93% rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, making it into Netflix's Top 10 list.

In an announcement made at Anime Expo, the release date for Season 2 of Delicious in Dungeon was set two years later. To celebrate, a poster featuring the new episodes was released. This poster resembles the manga cover and includes Laios and his team, depicting Falin as a Chimera and the "Mad Wizard" Thristle (Rebeka Thomas). However, fans will have to wait a bit longer to see the continuation of this epic adventure, as the return of Delicious in Dungeon is planned for next year.
