Daredevil: Born Again's second season managed to turn skeptics into fans. By presenting a story remarkably similar to the original Netflix series, it overcame the fragmentation caused by the loose connections of the first season. Season 2 delivered fantastic episodes from time to time, featuring tremendous performances, endless action scenes, and a clear homage to the previous series. From Matt Murdock's (Charlie Cox) daring prison escape to Bullseye's (Wilson Bethel) assault during a boxing match, many scenes became legendary moments for Daredevil.
One of the standout aspects of Season 2 is its willingness to put significant characters at risk. The deaths of Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer) and Daniel Blake (Michael Gandolfini) deeply affected the remaining characters in the series. The spectacular season finale not only changes Matt Murdock's position in the MCU forever but also raises great questions about where the confirmed third season will go.
Before this historic moment occurs, Matt needs to heal his wounds. Fortunately, his partner in the crime war, Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), is there to help him. He must fully recover and rally all his friends to finally defeat Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio). After healing, Matt appears in court to clear his beloved Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) of legal troubles. Matt's ex-girlfriend Heather Glenn (Margarita Levieva) testifies after repeatedly attacking Karen. To lead the unfair case against Karen, Matt decides to call Fisk to the stand.
For over a decade, there has been a violent conflict between Matt and Fisk, but the only way Daredevil can achieve a true victory over Kingpin is through strategy, not brute force. When Matt questions Fisk about Hell's Kitchen's Devil, he makes an unexpected move: he publicly declares in court that he is Daredevil. Initially unconvinced, the court has no doubts about his identity as Hell's Kitchen's famous superhero after Matt bounces his cane off the walls of the courtroom and takes it back in hand.
Over the years, Fisk has threatened to reveal Matt's identity if he is punished. In Season 2, Fisk explains that this would turn Matt into a martyr that New York citizens would sympathize with. When Matt's identity as Daredevil is fully exposed, he can testify to Fisk's decades of crimes in a real legal setting. This may be enough to involve Kingpin this time.
Matt's revelation is the biggest news in New York since Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) leaked Peter Parker's (Tom Holland) identity to the world (the time when the world magically forgot about this event). As a result, Fisk goes on the defensive, and only those close to him remain. His former partner Bullseye attacks Fisk in court once again but strikes his loyal servant Buck (Arty Froushan) instead.
Hours later, Daredevil's supporters surround City Hall and begin a full-scale riot. Daredevil, Jessica, and the exonerated Karen go there to intervene. The result is bloodshed. With nothing to lose, Fisk takes a stand against the Daredevil supporters entering the building. Meanwhile, the new White Tiger
