Chopard has revealed important details about its events at the Cannes Film Festival. The luxury jewelry brand will host Isabelle Huppert as the guardian and Odessa A'zion and Connor Swindells as awardees at its annual Trophée Chopard ceremony, taking place on May 15 at Carlton Beach. Leading figures from Cannes, Iris Knobloch and Thierry Frémaux, will attend the event and co-host alongside Chopard's co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele.

Since becoming an official partner of the festival in 1998, Chopard has placed special emphasis on uplifting the next generation of the film industry. Previous recipients of the Trophée Chopard, created by Scheufele in 2001, include Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, Diane Kruger, Florence Pugh, Jessie Buckley, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Mike Faist, Joe Alwyn, and Gael García Bernal.

Huppert is one of the festival's frequent visitors and has won the Best Actress award twice for her performances in Violette Nozière and The Piano Teacher. This year, Huppert, who is attending the festival with Asghar Farhadi's Parallel Tales, considers her role as the guardian of the Trophée Chopard a special honor. Scheufele stated, "Isabelle Huppert has long been a friend of the maison, and our connection is based on a deep artistic affinity. It felt very natural for her to be the guardian of the Trophée Chopard because we believe in the importance of talent transfer and supporting emerging talents."

Odessa A'zion made a bright debut this year with her performance in Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme, working alongside Timothée Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tyler, the Creator. She also plays a recurring character in Rachel Sennott's I Love LA series. Upcoming projects include Cody Fern's Mother Courage (with Naomi Watts and Sarah Paulson) and Justine Triet's Fonda film. Her previous works include Sitting in Bars with Cake, Fresh Kills, Pools, Grand Army, Hellraiser, and She Rides Shotgun.

British actor Connor Swindells gained significant recognition for his role as Adam Groff in Netflix's global phenomenon Sex Education. With successful roles ranging from musical films to period dramas, contemporary cinema to large-scale productions, Swindells' credits include Emma, The Vanishing, Steven Knight's SAS Rogue Heroes, William Tell, and Greta Gerwig's billion-dollar masterpiece Barbie. He will soon be seen in Ruben Östlund's highly anticipated The Entertainment System Is Down and Kayleigh Llewellyn's The Dreamlands. Swindells remarked, "The Trophée Chopard means a lot to me. It's not just recognition; it also reminds me of the people and moments that have shaped my career."
