Season 2 also features talented actors like Seoyeon Jang (Butterfly), Song Kang-ho (Parasite), Mikaela Hoover (Superman), and William Fichtner (Talamasca: The Secret Order).

Following the success of the series, Lee Sung Jin announced that he will write the screenplay for Marvel's upcoming untitled X-Men film. Working alongside Beef's co-producer Joanna Calo, Lee will join this project under the direction of Thunderbolts* and Beef's director Jake Schreier. Lee spoke about his childhood love for X-Men, mentioning the series he watched every Saturday morning with his father, and expressed being a big fan of the Gambit character.

According to Lee, Jake Schreier has a very clear vision of what he wants to achieve with this film.
