The 'three-lettered' entities that Turkish horror cinema has used for years to scare audiences are now coming to make them laugh.

Ecünni, a new absurd comedy film, has begun shooting. The production, signed by Maniac Film, reunites Burak Topaloğlu and Berkay Tulumbacı, known from Güldür Güldür Show, in the same project, while the film's most striking surprise is hidden on the other side.

Cengiz Bozkurt, Ferdi Sancar, and Hakan Meriçliler will bring to life three extraordinary characters whose paths intersect with Gökhan and Veli.

They moved into the same house after Güldür Güldür

Burak Topaloğlu plays Gökhan, while Berkay Tulumbacı portrays Veli.

The two characters live together in the same house. However, what starts as an ordinary roommate situation takes a turn when they cross paths with three names that are anything but ordinary.

The fact that Topaloğlu and Tulumbacı have previously worked together on Güldür Güldür Show is one of Ecünni's significant assets in terms of comedy. This time, the two actors meet at the center of a feature-length absurd comedy instead of a sketch scene.

There are two names in the director's chair

Tayfun Dinçer and Varol Şahin are co-directing Ecünni.

The screenplay was also written by Varol Şahin. The project, produced by Emre Telci and Varol Şahin, signed by Maniac Film, started filming at the beginning of the week.

The announced cast of the film, centered around Burak Topaloğlu and Berkay Tulumbacı, currently highlights Cengiz Bozkurt, Hakan Meriçliler, and Ferdi Sancar.
