Recognized for her green eyes and red hair, O’Heaney portrayed the character Amy Jensen, who is threatened by a bride-obsessed killer in the film "He Knows You’re Alone" (1980). Director Armand Mastroianni reviewed over 4,000 photographs and interviewed more than 100 actresses before selecting O’Heaney for the role.
