Louisa Levy's series "Off Campus" continues to hold the top spot in Prime Video's TV rankings this week. Based on Elle Kennedy's book series, this "fake" relationship story is winning the hearts of more viewers. Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, who bring the characters Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham to life, have received high praise from critics and audiences alike, becoming a new favorite genre for many. However, if this series doesn't pique your interest, there are plenty of other entertaining shows to discover on the platform. Here are three fantastic series to watch on Prime Video this week.
Created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, "Kevin" stands out as an adult animated comedy series. The show begins with the unexpected change in the life of a house cat. Kevin, who arrives at an animal rescue center in Queens, Astoria, embarks on a journey of self-discovery with the help of his new and quirky friends, encountering humorous situations along the way. Jason Schwartzman voices the character Kevin, while famous names like Plaza, Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, Aparna Nancherla, Gil Ozeri, Carey Elwes, and Amy Sedaris bring supporting characters to life.
After premiering on April 20, "Kevin" received mixed but generally positive reviews. While it's true that not every joke lands, it offers viewers entertaining moments as a quirky sitcom. Although it is often filled with disturbing bodily humor, it surprisingly contains sweet moments as well. While it may not be suitable for everyone, it provides a delightful viewing experience for pet owners and fans of Aubrey Plaza's unique comedic style. Moreover, the excellent performances from the voice cast reveal one of this year's most intriguing (and perhaps overlooked) new comedies.
