Brad Pitt has once again proven himself as a perfect name for Hollywood's major events. With his performance as Sonny Hayes in F1: The Movie, the two-time Oscar-winning actor achieved significant commercial success in Joseph Kosinski's fast-paced production. The film garnered attention by reaching a global revenue of $633 million, making it Apple Original Film's highest-grossing film of all time. Additionally, the film, which received four Oscar nominations, was nominated for Best Picture and won the Oscar for Best Sound.

Following the success of F1: The Movie, Brad Pitt's contribution to a project from 22 years ago has also come to light. In the 2004 film Troy, Pitt starred alongside Orlando Bloom and Eric Bana, securing a significant place in this ambitious historical tale. Directed by Wolfgang Petersen and written by David Benioff, co-creator of the future Game of Thrones, this film was originally intended to be directed by the famous filmmaker Christopher Nolan. In an interview in 2025, Nolan expressed his interest in the project, stating, "I was hired by Warner Bros. to direct Troy." Currently, Nolan is directing his own Greek mythology film, The Odyssey, in which the Trojan War will play a significant role.

Troy achieved great success, grossing $483 million worldwide. Pitt's appeal at the time played a crucial role in the film's success. However, it received mixed reviews from critics, with some negative comments citing a lack of emotional depth. Nevertheless, it captivated many viewers with its visual spectacle. More than two centuries later, Troy still maintains its popularity and, as of this writing, ranks among the top ten most-watched films in the U.S. on the AMC+ platform.
