We've made significant progress in adapting video games to the screen. In the past, adaptations of games often bore little resemblance to the original in terms of character, aesthetics, or thematic content. However, today, while not every adaptation perfectly reflects the gaming experience, video game-themed series and films are increasingly appreciated. Therefore, it's the perfect time to bring BioShock Infinite to the screen.

Set in 1912, this steampunk adventure begins with Booker DeWitt (Troy Baker), an old cavalryman and Pinkerton detective, being tasked by an unknown employer to find a young woman named Elizabeth (Courtnee Draper), who is trapped in a floating city called Columbia. This steam-powered city is governed by a military religious fanatic known as the "prophet" Zachary Comstock (Kiff VandenHeuvel), inspired by historical figures like Mormon leaders Joseph Smith and Brigham Young. While BioShock Infinite is technically a prequel to the first two BioShock games, it offers an independent adventure with its unique atmospheric world, dynamic character development, and a narrative that keeps players constantly intrigued.

The game emphasizes the importance of values such as freedom, love, and loyalty while adding deep meaning for players. These themes aim not only to present a story but also to provoke thought and questioning among the audience. The series adaptation of BioShock Infinite has the potential to offer viewers an unforgettable experience with its profound storytelling and character development. Now is the right time to bring this iconic universe to the screen.
