Director Transfer to Daha 17 from A.B.İ.: Murat Aksu Joins the Team
Daha 17 has made a notable transfer behind the camera. Murat Aksu, who served as the second director at A.B.İ., has joined the directing team of the series produced by Pastel Film.
According to GZT's report, Aksu's work in his new role was reflected on screen starting with the 10th episode, which aired on August 2. Emre Kabakuşak is credited as the main director of Daha 17 in the official credits of Kanal D.
Back on the Same Set with Emre Kabakuşak
This transition is not the first collaboration between Aksu and Kabakuşak. The two directors previously worked together in the directing team of Sefirin Kızı. One of the series' actors, Esra Kızıldoğan, had mentioned that Aksu and Kabakuşak were part of the project's directing team at that time.
Aksu will not create a change in the main direction of Daha 17; he will work as the second director alongside Kabakuşak.
Left the Directing Team of A.B.İ.
Murat Aksu was part of the directing team of A.B.İ., which stars Kenan İmirzalıoğlu and Afra Saraçoğlu. ATV had also announced Yağmur Taylan, Durul Taylan, and Murat Aksu as part of the directing team during the initial period of the series.
It has not been disclosed why Aksu left A.B.İ. or whether another second director will come in his place. Therefore, there is no verified information to associate the change with a crisis or disagreement within the production.
Daha 17 Strengthened Its Directing Team
Premiering on May 31, Daha 17 continues its story set in Bodrum under the direction of Emre Kabakuşak. The series is produced by Yaşar İrvül and Efe İrvül, with the production company being Pastel Film.
Murat Aksu's participation is noteworthy as a direct transition between the directing teams of two ambitious series currently airing. Moreover, Aksu is returning to the team of Kabakuşak, with whom he previously worked on the same set, rather than starting a new working arrangement.
No separate official statement regarding the change of roles has yet been released from Kanal D, Pastel Film, ATV, or OGM Pictures.
