James Keziah Delaney returns to London in 1814, exactly 10 years after he went to Africa to find his father's mysterious inheritance. Delaney finds himself caught in a dangerous game between England and America during an unjust war, facing off against the East India Company, and thus the adventurous James Keziah Delaney establishes his own maritime empire in the early 1800s.
