"Empty Days" tells the story of a day in the life of Jean and Fabiana, a couple of young lovers trying to reinvent their lives in a small town in the Brazilian hinterlands. They are in their senior year of high school and face the age-old dilemma: should we leave this city or stay here and continue our parents' legacy? By the end of this day, Jean takes his own life and Fabiana disappears. Two years later, Daniel and Alanis, another young couple, try to piece together how everything unfolded.
