A stock broker plans to rob his clients. After emptying the safe, he reserves a train compartment under an assumed name, shaves off his moustache and removes all marks of his identity from his clothing in the hope of leading a new life of a wealthy investor in another city. Just an hour before his scheduled departure a strange girl approaches him and tries to persuade him to remain honest.
