He began his career in the 1990s and appeared in films such as 8mm (1999), Life (1999), and The Ladykillers (2004). On television, he had roles in series like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Atlanta (2018), and Sun Records (2017). Jordan studied acting at Texas Southern University and later at UCLA Extension. In addition to acting, he also worked as a writer and director. He passed away at the age of 54.
