With her career derailed, she opts for a quieter life in rural Washington. Eight years later, when Johnson is under suspicion for murder once more, Travis is lured back to the DA’s office for another chance at justice.
Travis and former colleague Matthew Collier search Johnson's house for anything that might lead to an arrest as they face mounting pressure from Alan Wiest to build a case quickly. Meanwhile, shady celebrity lawyer Ezra Wolf tries to clean up Johnson's image.
